This article explains how the multi-user mode works

Updated over 2 months ago

The Multi-user mode allows different users from the same organization to collaborate on their demand planning process.

Note: The multi-user mode is only available for customers with an Enterprise plan.

Role Definition and Accesses

In the multi-user mode there are two different types of users:

  • Admin: Main user, responsible for data management and user access.

  • Standard user: user that needs to access and modify forecasts, has limited access to the account.

It is possible to have several admins.

The table below lists the access and rights of the two roles.

Multi-user Rules

The user account must be set in Admin mode to see this menu. Contact your SKU Science representative if this is not the case.

List of users in your organization

In the Sharing settings, you will find the list of all users attached to your organization.

How to apply a filter to a user

The Admin can define the filters per user. This allows you to segregate each user's perimeter. In the case below, we want to limit a user to only have access to the elements linked to the Paris location. If you want a user to access all the data, you click on the Share all button. Note that the orange button means that only a substet of your dataset is shared with a particular user.

Make sure you click on Apply to validate any changes.

In the Navigator, you can check which elements are shared with a user by looking in the General Information section of an element.

Cancel data sharing with a user

When unsharing data with a specific user, it removes all the SKUs and customs fields in the specific account. If the action was performed by mistake, you can share the dataset again from the admin account.
