This article describes the functionality of this tab present in the Navigator

Here's what appears in the Demand Forecasting tab:

This interface allows you to visualize your data graphically and in table form.

On the graphical part, several curves are distinguished:

  • The blue curve (Demand) represents the demand or your sales.

  • The dotted blue curve (Consensus) allows you to compare the forecast model selected by the platform with historical sales data.

  • The dotted red curve allows you to visualize the forecast generated by the platform or the consensus forecast (that of the platform combined with your adjustments) based on the selected button below.

Here we are in platform forecast mode:

With this choice, we then switch to consensus forecast mode :

By using the icon with the plus sign, you can display additional charts.

More details are provided in this article.

In the data table section, you can view the data present on the chart. It is possible to scroll through the dates using the arrows on the right side of the screen:

If you want to switch from one item to another in the view, simply use these arrows :

You also have the option to adjust the historical demand (as a whole number) or your forecast (as a whole number or percentage) if necessary. The new data will then also appear on the graphical part.

Our platform takes care of choosing the best model for your forecasts.

The selected parameters are visible by clicking on the settings button:

A window opens, and you can view the selected parameters for your model. These parameters are displayed for informational purposes and are updated with each new cycle.

If you wish to clear all adjustments made, simply press Reset Adjustments :

The Approved? button allows you to lock any editing of a forecast. The adjustment fields are then no longer editable. A new click will make them editable again

How to create a switch (replace an end-of-life product with another)

Finally, one last function is available via this icon on the right.

This function allows you to create a new item incorporating all the properties of the current item. This function is particularly useful when a new product replaces another (switch). We recommend contacting us if you are interested in this function.

It allows you to obtain forecasts for a new product based on the historical data of the replaced product.
