This article explains the options available for adding different curves to compare them with your forecasts.

Updated over a year ago

When viewing the graphical part of the forecasts in the Navigator or in Forecast Edition, various options are available to you.

These can be accessed by using the "+" sign located on the right side of the screen.

Selecting the curves to display

Simply select the curve you want to display to see it added to the chart.

For example, if you have uploaded data for your budgets or external forecasts, you will be able to see these new curves on the graphical part.

If we select the budget curve, for example, we get the following result.

You will then see this curve appear on your chart, allowing you to compare your current forecast with your annual budget. Note that this comparison is also available on your dashboards with alignment to your fiscal year.

Switching forecast display

By using the buttons located on the right side of the curves, you can switch the graphical display to view either the platform's forecast or the consensus forecast (the combination of the platform's forecast with your adjustments). For example, for the period 10/2022, the platform's forecast is 794, while the user's forecast is 1,030.

By clicking the buttons below, you change the display.

Here we are visualizing the platform's forecast.

While in this case, we are visualizing the user's forecast.

Switching demand display

Similarly, if you have entered demand adjustments on the platform (e.g., to replace aberrant historical values), you can use the two buttons located on the left to switch the graphical display.

This way, you can choose to visualize either the demand curve or the adjusted demand curve.
