The SKU Science application is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and our servers are located in European Union, in Ireland. The AWS cloud infrastructure is designed to be one of the most secure cloud computing environment in the world and is compliant with ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2/SSAE 16/ISAE 3402 PCI Level 1, FISMA Moderate, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

The SKU Science platform database is also hosted on AWS and is compliant with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC, EU-US Privacy Shield, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001. All data is encrypted at rest.

As well as the security features built into the AWS service, we have all communications between the application, the database and the browser encrypted (128-bit SSL encryption, https protocol).

The SKU Science platform database is replicated, ensuring a high quality of service. It is also backed up every 6 hours.

As the account owner, you are the only one authorized to access your data. If you need assistance that requires access to your SKU Science account, you can generate a temporary connection token to grant access to our support team to connect to your account.
